Kigazi is a rural village situated 25km out of Kabale town in south west Uganda. It has an altitude of 2500m above sea level. A population of between 1000-2000. Over 98% of these are subsistence farmers, mainly growing potatoes. There is a village primary school and a protestant and catholic church. These are central to village life.
